MULLIGAN MADNESS

Join us for our May social day at the North Ryde Common. All levels of player are welcome. Players under 18 must be supervised by a parent/guardian or nominated adult.

18 holes will be played on the North Ryde Doubles layout (front 9 on tees marked by flags and back 9 on normal signposted layout).  Each player will have one mulligan available to use on every hole. A mulligan is free second chance after a poor shot – you ignore the shot (as if it never happened) and re-throw.

Mulligan Rules

• Each player receives 1 mulligan available to use on each hole (18 total).
• Mulligans cannot be carried over to other holes and in the event of a playoff, each player will have one mulligan available per hole.
• A player does not need to use their mulligan.
• A mulligan can be used on any shot (tee shot, approach shot or putt).
• The player has 10 seconds after throwing to call a mulligan.
• For tee shots, the second shot is taken after all other players have thrown their first shot.
• On all other shots, the second shot is thrown after making the mulligan call (before the next person throws).
• Once a mulligan is called, the first shot is dead. If the second shot is worse, you have to take it (including any penalties) and cannot take the mulligan back.

Please meet at the hole 9/18 basket by 9:30am for player’s briefing with the round kicking off at approximately 9:45 am.

Entry Fee: $6 non-members, $5 for casual members or FREE for standard members and first time players.
Ace Pot: $2 (optional)

Please register for the event before 8:30am Sunday and check-in when you arrive at the course.

Cash prize for the winner of each division (based on PDGA rating):

Advanced (ADV) – 890 and above
Intermediate (INT) – 800 to 889
Recreational (REC) – 799 and below (beginners)

Plenty of parking on street. Please avoid parking in the car park as this belongs to the hospital.
