A Sydney Disc Golf Club Special Event
Following the final championship round of the year, there was a short break with pizza and drinks while the numbers were crunched and the championships decided.
The Club President, Mat Wallis commenced proceedings by announcing the following awards:
- 2024 Junior Champion: Jayden Tran
- 2024 Junior Runner-up: Dominic Osborne
- 2024 Female Champion: Kairi Koobakene
- 2024 Female Runner-up: Peata Hepi
- 2024 Handicap Champion: Robert Beaven
- 2024 Handicap Runner-up: Owen Harris
- 2024 Handicap 2nd Runner-up : Evan Hollins
- 2024 Male Champion: Priit Koiv
- 2024 Male Runner-up: Mat Wallis
- 2024 Male 2nd Runner-up: Mario Tolberg

With the awards out of the way it was then time for our Championship Skins event – now open to all players. $20 entry with 4 players per card and $80 up for grabs.
We had a total of 12 players across 3 cards ranked according to club handicap.
On lead card, Liam Brunelli-Brondex took 16 skins, stealing 9 of them with an ace on the final hole. Mario, Jack and Tundji managed to snatch a couple each.
On second card, Tanga Waetford took 7 skins, Priit 6 skins , Arty 2 and Mat Wallis stole the final 5 winning the putt-off on the final hole.
On final card, Mat Lamy took all but won skin. Robert managed only 1 while Pablo and Wayne went home broke. The final 6 skins going to Mat after another putt-off on hole 18.
