A Sydney Disc Golf Club Social Event
The forecast was abysmal and the weather radar wasn’t looking any better on Sunday morning. However, 30 crazy disc golfers turned up at The Armory for our first social day of the year.
The rain started about half an hour before play and it pretty much rained all morning.
The wet conditions led to a few unexpected double bogies even amongst the top 4 players. Scores were not as good as usual and after 18 holes, it was a tie between Priit Koiv and Olatundji Akpo-Sani at -4. To break the tie, the pair commenced a sudden-death playoff. After 2 tied holes, it went to CTP and Priit prevailed yet again.
In the handicap competition, Jack Gannon took a narrow win over Patrick Tjitrosantoso. Jack shooting almost 130 points better than his rating.

Following the round we held a CTP on hole 1 of the white layout. Mat Wallis threaded one through the tight gap to grab the early lead but Priit Koiv went the sneaky forehand hyzer route to park it next to the basket and steal yet another prize.
